We may use some of this information for other reasons, for example, to help us to protect the health of the general public, to plan for the future.

Health Records

You have the right to see your health records, subject to limitations in the law. Your records are kept confidential at all times. Copies of patients' records are only released to a Third Party (ie Solicitor, Insurance Company etc) when we are in receipt of a signed consent form from the patient.

Video Recording of Consultations

Occasionally consultations will be recorded as part of General Practitioner training. No recording of consultations will take place without a patient's consent and intimate physical examinations will not be recorded. The consultations will be used for training purposes only, will be turned off on request and deleted after a consultation if a patient so requests.
